IMPORTANT NOTICE - To Our Members with Loans
Connects Federal Credit Union appreciates the opportunity to assist you with your borrowing needs. At this time, we are writing to inform you of upcoming changes to your open end loan payment due dates. These changes are required due to a very complicated new federal regulation that went into affect August 20, 2009.

For the Credit Union to remain in compliance with the new regulations, the actual due date(s) of your open end loan(s) will be changed to the 28th of each month. A reminder of your payment due will be included on your monthly statement.

If you are currently paying your loan thru automatic transfer on a weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, or monthly basis, you are welcome to continue doing so. We will continue to apply each automatic transfer to satisfy your total monthly payment. If you choose not to pay on the original frequency set up at the time of your loan advance, you will not be considered late on your loan, as long as you pay the total amount due each month by the 28th. Interest will continue to accrue each day until a payment is received. We recommend that you continue paying on the original frequency, as this will reduce the total amount of interest that you pay over the life of the loan and it may be easier to budget partial payments per your pay period instead of one monthly payment.
